I have had a small mole on my waist for many years. About three years ago it turned red and looked irritated. I thought it was from rubbing on the waist of my jeans. It turns red and goes back to brown every few months. This morning I noticed another similar thing happening on my shoulder. Only thing is this mole isn't near anything that could be rubbing it. They are not painful just a little more raised. Is this cause for concern?

Mole that looks red and inflamed and have increased in size, should be checked by dermatologist.
