Has anyone here gotten mole removal
before? How does the whole thing work? Can
many be done at one time? or is it only
one at a time??? How much does it usually
cost, how much did you pay??? I need all
the information you can give me THANK
YOU!!! OHH, also, who do I talk to about
this? A regular doctor? A dermatologist? A
plastic surgeon??? I have absolutely no
idea what to do! HELP ME!!!

Here are some helpful details about mole
removal.
Moles are bulgy or flat dark spots on the
skin. The moles have concentration of
melanin, which cause them to look darker
then the rest of the skin. They are
usually oval or round in shape, and appear
mostly on the: Chest, back and shoulders.
The moles are genetic, and can appear at
any age. The moles are not dangerous as
they are but are very sensitive to sun
exposure and can become skin cancer
(melanoma); therefore a person with moles
shouldn't be too exposed to the sun and
should examine the moles at a
dermatologist every period.
The moles are also not esthetic and
permanent; therefore people ask to take
them off.
The moles can appear on men and women, and
almost everyone has one or two moles on
their body. The moles may appear during
the years or in birth, as birth marks.
Moles Cosmetic Surgery Procedures:
There are several ways to take the moles
off.
* Liquid nitrogen- injections of
liquid nitrogen cause the mole to freeze
and fall.
* Surgery- removing the moles by
cutting the top and scrapping the
remains.
* Laser treatment- destroys the mole
tissues until it drops.
Tips for Moles Cosmetic Surgery:
* Check your moles at a dermatologist
every few months to make sure they didn't
become a skin cancer.
* Stay away from the sun and put
sunscreen especially on the moles.
* If you decide to take off the moles,
go only to certified places that usually
deal with moles and know the best
treatment for you.
* Ask for before and after pictures
from your surgeon so you will know what to
expect and also ask your surgeon about the
results and if you are about to have a
scar.
* The signs for melanoma are: If the
mole starts to change its color and shape,
has rough edges, and is not symmetric, it
is very important to go to the
dermatologist to check the mole and make
sure its not melanoma.
* Read as much information as you can
about moles, risks, results of moles
removal, the surgeon you chose and more.

My dermatologist removed 6 moles from
various parts of my body (face, arms,
back, and legs) all in one appointment.
Some were simple removal. The one on my
face, for instance, was sliced right off.
The ones on my back and arms, however, we
more complicated. They required quite a
few stitches and the one on my arm has
left a nasty scar.
How do you know your moles need to be
removed? You can make an appointment with
a dermatologist and have your entire body
checked for possible *scary* moles.
It isn't that painful.

hi i had a few moles on my face i had them
removed it cost alot but was worth it
there isnt a single scar it looked like a
red spot for about 5weekes and now nothing
atall and it didnt hurt either
