I'm a 22 yr old woman who gave birth last year exactly. I have now been 6 months without a period, an abnormal pap, enlarged ovaries, decreased libido, ovarian cysts, thyroid and hormone levels are good. My doctor did a pelvic exam on me after i complained of lots of pressure around the left ovary area and i started to bleed a few hours after my visit (bright bright red), bled for almost 2 weeks w/ some clotting... at this point i am no longer bleeding bright red but i have occasional sharp pains and often feel lots of pressure near the left ovary. I had an ultrasound done after my initial visit which showed multiple cysts and enlarged ovaries. I am really nervous and not too sure what this could be... unfortunately my doctor doesn't either. she said she thinks i have pcos, but it doesnt make sense because my hormones are all fine and pcos wouldn't make me bleed bright red the abnormal pap... just doesn't add up. i forgot to add i am definitely not pregnant, both urine and blood tests are neg.

Are you working with a GP or a OB-GYN?...I would think that if this is bothering you this much that you should dig deeper for the type of specialist who handles this type of problem....If you wish to "Ask a Doctor" here at the site, you may address him/her at the top of this page...Either way, good luck...
