Yesterday, while driving on the high-way, a car from the opposite side of the high-way got clipped by another car. This caused the car to fly through the air into my lane, heading in the opposite direction of the high-way heading STRAIGHT for me.

If my reactions were 1 second slower, I would be dead...

One of the ladies in the car had serious head/face trauma and the other had both her legs broken.

A gentleman in a Ford-Bantam was not so lucky...he died on impact when the other car came flying into our side of the high-way...

Although, physically I am fine, my car is a wreck...I had to dodge onto the shoulder which had branches strewn all over it from the bushes that marks the center of the high-way having been recently trimmed. My car eventually stopped two or three meters from the main accident as it slid on the grass while I was trying to maintain control. Radiator, front bumper, air-con, under carriage-protection plate is all ripped to shreds...not to mention the right side being scratched to hell and gone...

To top it all off, this morning on the way to the cardiologist, while driving my mom's car...another &*@(*@!$ drove into me...(Absolutely not my fault...he impacted on my side as he was moving out of a parking spot and didn't even have his indicator on).

And when I thaught things could not POSSIBLY get ANY worste...

The cardiologist confirmed the Marfan's Dx...

I have mitril-valve prolapse, mitril-valve regurgetation and risk of aortic dissection.

The major problem right now...is that NOTHING seems to be sinking in...it's like I am totally "anaware" and/or in denial...

I have no Idea what to expect right now...

Oh my gosh, I am SO sorry that you went through all of that. That is incredibly scary and such a close call. *HUGE HUGS* I'm glad that you are okay. I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling after such a crazy few days. It may not be sinking in yet, but if anything does start to sink in, and even when its not sinking in, I'm here for you (you can always PM me too if you want). I hope things start to look up for you. That sounds so crazy.

Does she know all that went on yet, or is she going to be hearing it for the first time when you go in on Saturday? Good luck with your appointment. I bet it'll help to be able to talk it out with someone. Sorry again about all thats going on for you; you don't seem to be getting any breaks Sad
