Hello - Me and my boyfriend have been sexually active for over six months now. We started in missionary position and it hurt, but I was a virgin, so I thought it was expected. After a few times it seemed fine, but then began to be very painful. We tried other positions and they do not hurt at all, but missionary is still painful. Any suggestions on how to make it hurt less? We've tried lube.
Thank you!

Ally, where does it hurt? In your entrance? Does he hit your cervix? Does it get better as you go along? Can you put your finger in without it hurting?

Did you try getting on top wh ere you control the insertion, direction, depth and pace?

When he goes in the first time it begins to hurt, he may possibly be hitting my cervix, I'm not quite sure. This is the first guy I've ever been with so we've not very experienced. It gets a little better after about two or three minutes, but its often so painful I have to change. I haven't tried putting a finger in.
And yes, when I'm on top it doesn't hurt.
