Q: Missing Period?

I need some opinions.

Nya is 10 weeks today.

I bled until she was almost 4 weeks.

And I breastfed (not exclusively, but still.) until she was 4 weeks.

Me & Baron had unprotected sex right before she made 3 weeks. He pulled out.
Then again, when she was 5 weeks. (I was on top, he pulled out RIGHT before I had an orgasm, and out of ignorance I sat back down on it. It was covered in semen, from his penis and his hand.)
I stayed on it until I orgasmed.

I went to the Dr soon after and told him.
He gave me some b/c but told me not to start it until my period came. I could start on the 1st sun/mon of my first mentrual cycle.
okay. that was when Nya was 5 weeks.

So, 6 weeks since I've stopped bleeding and breastfeeding have by and still NOTHING.

No cramping, spotting, nothing. I did have a light acne breakout and SWORE that that was a result of PMS, and my period would be here ASAP. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago...

When Nya makes 3 months I have to schedule my pap.

Oni's birthday is coming up on the 22nd, and we're going to have her party on the 27th. If it doesn't come by THEN, I'll call my Dr and schedule something ASAP.

I *WOULD* test, but I don't want to just do it out of paranoia and waste money, THIS is why I need some opinions!

Personally, I would test. I test every month though even if I don't have any symptoms.

It took me awhile to start my period. I hadn't started it but then I took the pill around when Luke turned 10 weeks so I "started" 4 weeks after that.

Thanks Courtnie!

That's the thing, with Oni I just started taking the patch when I left from my 6 week check up...so I didn't know WHEN I would naturally start...

I mean, it is, but it isn't.

I don't have the time to really think about it...or lack there of.

Until Nya makes another week, and I'm like...hmm..where the...?

A test would be accurate now and they really don't cost that much money so it wouldn't be a huge waste of $. I think the Equate brand is around $5-7. It is a small price to pay for peace of mind.

Yes it is!

I'm more likely to be in WalMart, so I'd be killing 2 birds with one stone. Smile Think of all the gas money I'd save not driving across the road to the dollar store!

I would test. That would be too long for me to go without a period so I don't think a test would be such a waste of $$$.

Mel, I've never had a period after Nya. So I'm, in a sense, not late. LOL. I mean I DID bleed for almost 4 weeks, but that's not a period.

Right now, money is EXTREEMELY tight. I mean EXTREEMELY. Thank God for WIC right now...seriously.

But, if my period doesn't come by the 27th, (Nya will be 3 months on the 29th), I'll think about testing.

I've been wanting to wait until my Dr's appt. I need to make one when Nya turns 3 months, or right before.
That way, I won't have to pay for the test. And if he's still concerned, I could always go for a blood test.

Thanks yall for yalls help. I just wish I wasn't so broke right now.
Thankfully Baron got a $3 raise that will be applied to this Thrusday's check.

HAHAHHAHA RACHEL!!!

Yall, to be honest, I don't think I'm pregnant.

I mean, I've never naturally started my period after a child, let alone breastfeed along with it.
SOOOO, I'm assuming I'm just all messed up because of that.

If it doesn't come by the time Nya is 3 months, and I schedule my pap, I'll test.

You haven't been breast feeding for 6 weeks now. That shouldn't keep your period from coming.
