Helo,

My Girlfriend is taking yasminelle pils. 0,02mg/3mg (etinilestradiol/drospirenona), She normally doenst forget and takes it always at the same time during day.

She forgot to take the pill on the 18th day of the cicle (3rd Week), when she noticed the day after, she took two and continued to take the rest.

She is very worried because we had had sex three days before (15th day). Should we be worried, or the problem is only if sex is after forgeting? I know sperm can live 5 day, but since she took the pils ok before.. is there reason to be scared?

On the instructions says to stop imeadeately taking it or take the pill which was forgoten and continue taking a new set of pills. What should we do?

Please Help, as today is day 21th... of the cycle and we don't know what to do.

It sounds like she did just as she should.

If you miss one pill, you're supposed to take it immediately and then continue on as normal and no back up birth control is needed.

Just as long as she doesn't make a habit of forgetting pills. You should be fine. Smile
