i was on AVVIANE and my doctor switched me to LUTERA, now this is my 3rd month on luter but....i was on my period and it was really light and i thought i was done and had intercorse, but i had 1 more placebo pill, and then i wasent able to get my new pill pack right away i was one week without pills and i did not have sex or anything but i am worried if from just that one placebo pill wud i be safe? and now am back to normal on my pills again, but yesterday the 2nd i felt like i was getting a cramp and wen i wiped i had my period and today nothing!!!! but it wasent nothing light pink like what i have read it was red blood like it was my period on my 1st day.

my question is was i protected even with that one placebo pill i had left and then nothing for that week? and i cant take a test because its too early to see if i am....can some one give me advice...

As I could understand, you had missed the last placebo pill from the previous pack and then didn't take the first 7 pills from the next pack. Missing that last placebo pill is not a problem but missing the first 7 (active) pills from the next pack put you on a great risk to get pregnant even if you didn't have sex during those 7 days. You should use additional contraception (condom) during the whole cycle and make a pregnancy test 15 days after the last unprotected sex.
