Hi.

I've been on BC pills for two years solid, although I switched brands at the beginning of Nov. 08. I was bad about taking my pills in Feb. I missed a couple, and I think I may have started them a day late. Work has been insane, and I wasn't home much so I slipped up. I had sex once that month, on the 11th. I am pretty sure I missed a pill the next day. I have always been very regular, esp. since I'm on the pill, and have never missed a period, nor have I been more than a day or two late. I was supposed to start my period on March 1. It's now the 11th, and still nothing. I've done some pregnancy tests with negative results, but my sister told me she didn't test positive until she was three weeks late so I am having a hard time believing the tests. Could I be pregnant and still be testing negative? If I'm understanding things correctly, missing a pill (and being inconsistent in general) could mean I ovulated, and if that happened on the 13-15, I could have gotten pregnant. But then, shouldn't the pregnancy test I did on the 8th have come back positive? I will see a Dr. if I miss another period but in the meantime some advice would help me feel better about the whole thing.
