Q: Missed pill day after having sex ?

I missed my pill the day after i had sex but did not realise i had until i went to take the next one. I have been feeling sick,more tired and i need to pee more often than usual, i am gettin cramps but my period is due so it may be that. I had also realised that sperm can live inside a person for a few day. I had done some research and found out that i had be ovulating around the time i had sex. After i missed the pill i continued to take it as normal. Could i be pregnant?

When you take the pill it supresses ovulation until you have your 7 day break so the 14 day ovulation rule does not apply to you.That said missing a pill can result in pregnancy so i would test for pregnancy if you miss a period on your next 7 day break from the pill or if you start having pregnancy symptoms Smile

its a good idea to take a pregnancy test if you dont get your period, but until then you need to stop worrying about it because stress can cause your period to be late and that will only cause you more stress. Good luck .-- Kyra
