I stopped using birth control at the end of July 07. I had a normal period at the beginning of Aug. since I had just finished my last pack of b.c. pills. After that I didn't have another period until late Sept to early Oct. Then I didn't have my next period until two months later in Dec. It has now been 3 months since my last period in Dec. I know it takes some women up to a year to become regular after birth control but is it normal to have irregular periods and then none at all after quitting birth control?

This erratic menstrual behavior is expected once you have gotten off birth control as you know. I'd just be patient and enjoy this period-free period; normally we women have to be pregnant, having hot-flashes or be too young to truly enjoy it!!

If you do feel it is a worrisome issue, then you can always go to the gyno and be prescribed a hormone that kick-starts ovulation.
