i have been taking the gianvi, yaz generic brand for about 6 months. my periods have been really light lasting for about a day at the most. for the past 2 months i have not had a period at all, but i have no side effects of being pregnant? i just want to make sure this is normal or should i go talk to my doctor?

Very normal. Women on the pill often stop having their periods completely. This does NOT mean you are pregnant. If you are taking your pill correctly (every day, generally on time) then you have nothing to worry about.
