I quit taking my birth control after my period at the end of February. In March, my period came on time and then came a week early in April. Based on when it came in April, I should have started again on May 21st. As of today, I still have not started. I have taken two test, one on May 24 and again on May 31st...both were negative. Is it possible that I have simply skipped a period? If so, what next?

Your body grows dependent on birth control hormones to regulate it (ie, have a constant cycle every 28 days). Without those hormones it is left to regulate itself and that could mean longer periods of time between periods (ie, they won't always be 28 days apart).

Wait a few days, take another pregnancy test if you think your missed period is related to pregnancy, or go see your doctor for a blood test.
