I have been taking Seasonique for 2 years now. Today is seven days that I am now late on my period. In all of the years of taking birth control (13 years), I have never missed a period. I took two home pregnancy tests a day apart, and they were both negative. I called my GYN and spoke with the nurse. She told me it was common to not have a period at all on Seasonique, so I shouldn't worry. I just don't feel right about that answer. Why, after all of the years of taking this medication and having regularly scheduled periods, would I all of a sudden just not have one? I have decided to stop taking my pills for a month and see if I get a period. I am not so much worried about being pregnant, but my mom had ovarian cancer at 43, and I am nervous something might be wrong. Has this ever happened to anyone?
