I'm 15. I started using birth control last month. I tookall my pills exactly the way I was supposed to and Sundy I took my first "inactive pill" That was supposed to start my period, but It's tuesday and I still have not started my period! I have had sex a few weeks after I started my birth control. Could I be pregnant? Or could it just be a side effect of starting the birth control?

Just keep on taking your pills. When you start birth control pills your body will take a while to adjust to the hormones.

To make sure, you can take a pregnancy test but unless you had unprotected intercourse in the first 7 days after you started or did not take the pill as directed (it does not sound like you have this problem), the chances are very very very small that you will be pregnant.
