I am 35 years old this October. I have had to have 2 abortions for tubal pregnancies and a miscarriage. I had an auto accident 11/10 which caused herniated disc and nerve damage in neck. My doctor put me on some progesterone, because I am not pregnant. It started my period after 8 months. I have had 1 internal ultrasound with no results, today i had an external ultrasound after drinking 45 oz. of water to have my bladder full, yet the nurse still couldn't see my uterus or anything else. What could be wrong? I am worried.

Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment on your condition without examining you and going ahead with further investigations. You should consider visiting a gynecologist/obstetrician at the earliest for thorough evaluation, hormonal and blood tests along with repeat ultrasound scan to look for the underlying cause for your absent periods. Causes for secondary or primary amenorrhea, ovarian failure, uterine or ovarian problems need to be ruled out to be able to comment on your future fertility level. Treatment as appropriate would be started to help you (based on examination and investigation results). Be in regular follow-up and monitoring of your treating doctor/gynecologist.
