I was supposed to have my period a week after i started taking the pill for the first time. I had expected it to happen then and it did not. i am currently on the last pill of the 2nd week. I have had protected sex always. For the first month, is it normal for this to happen? For the first month should it happen during the 7 day sugar pill period?

It might and normally should, but it sounds like you started your pills at a weird spot in your cycle-- which is fine, it's just going to take a bit for you to regulate according to your pills.

If you don't get your period during that time, don't panic. Your period will likely regulate within the next three months. Smile
