Q: Missed Period Due to Stress?

I have been on birthcontrol for about 7 months now and I take it at the same time everyday. At the beginning of September I started taking the pill an hour earlier than I did during the summer, but I started doing this with a brand new pack. I had done this at the beginning of the summer so I didn't think that it would matter. But then I missed my period this month. Like I said I take it at the same time everyday (except for one day I took it 2 hours late but I don't think that would effect it). I was very stressed the week before I usually get my period because I had a HUGE test that week. Its been a week and a half since I was supposed to get my period. Since I started taking my pills for October when I was supposed to I figured that is why I haven't got my period. I don't have any symptoms of pregnancy other than being tired but I think that is because once again I am really stressed. I know that being stressed usually screws up your cycle I'm just wondering if thats what it is or if I should be concerned if I am pregnant. I know this was probably really hard to follow, but I'd appreciate any advice anybody had. Thanks!

Alot of things can effect your cycle. However, I wouldn't worry too much about the timing issue- if you're one or two hours off it's okay (only worry when you've completely missed your pill).

However, if you've missed your period two months in a row (September and October- I couldn't really understand if you've had your period this month yet), then I would go to your doctor immediately and get a pregnancy test. Or if you're really uneasy then go your doctor now! This is definitley one stress that you might not want ontop of huge tests!
