Hi,
I'm a sexually active 18-year-old girl. My partner and I typically use Durex condoms, but around my 3rd week we had unprotected sex. I'm wondering if I could be pregnant?

1. The first day of my last period was Apr 29 (47 days ago). But my cycle varies - the previous three cycles were 28, 35, 35 days long.

2. What could be the cause of my delayed period (if I'm not pregnant)? I fell ill during my 4th week - sore throat and high fever (39 deg C/102 F). Would that affect?

3. I observed increased levels of clear/brown discharge (cervical mucus?) lately, but no itchiness/pain (hence ruling out UTI or yeast?)

4. I took a pregnancy test on my 42nd day. I didn't use 1st morning but I hadn't drunk any water in the morning before testing. The test I used was Biotest which is sensitive to 25mIU/ml hCG.

5. No preggers symptoms - no nausea, etc. But it's too early to experience any is it.

6. So, what do you think? Should I take another test? Neutral

It's possible.

Although, I feel like if you were pregnant then it would have shown up on the test. Take another test. It is possible that being sick, delayed it and then the stress delayed it even longer.

You should also look into getting on birth control. It will help regulate your period, that way you'll always know when it comes Smile
