Q: Missed first pill - spot bleeding

Hey,

I've been taking BC since late January. I have taken my pill every day at 7 pm until last Friday night when i missed it. I am still bleeding and I'm wondering why. I can't find anyone else who has been on BC for a while and has missed a pill and bled this long. Is this normal? Any guess on how long this will last or is it different for everyone?

Did you take your pill the next evening? It is different for everyone. Did you start your monthly on time?

Yes i've done everything correctly the entire time. I took one right when I realized on Saturday, around 1 pm, then I took one again at 7 pm.

What contraceptive are you using? Have you called your doctor or the local health department? Do you smoke? I know personal but its really hard to even give an opinion.
