You got your period because you missed three pills, that's the same as going on a placebo week. Your body thought it was time for the period because you hadn't taken pills.

You could get pregnant during that time. Getting your period is a good sign that you didn't get pregnant, but I would still take a test 2 weeks after you had sex just to make sure.
