Hey I am taking Alesse birth control and this is my 5th month on birth control pills. I know that it is best to take the pill at the same time every day, but lately I've messed up my pill taking time by a few hours (no more than 3 hours difference). This during the first week of my pack and today I missed my pill by 2.5 hours (day 10). I had condom-free sex yesterday and my boyfriend came inside me, as we did throughout the week.

I know that "missing a pill" means usually by 24 hours, but this is only by an hour to two hours each day. Should I be worried? Do I need backup for a week or should a few hours make that big of a difference?

I know that it is most effective when taking it at the same time everyday. I was doing really great at it up until my schedule got messed around and the last week my pill taking habbits have gotten bad Sad I need to get back on track but I just posted this here to be on the safe side. I have a latex sensitivity (can't use condoms) so it would be a really big bummer if I couldn't have sex for a week.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.
