Hi,
My name is Taylor. The question isn't from me, it's from a friend, but i told her that i would do some research for her.
she has gotten her period since she was 10 and she is now 13. she didnt have her period for 65 days straight and then she finally got it. she didn't have any pms syptoms, she never bled, and she didnt ovulate for those 65 days. she is a virgin, and she's kind of freaking out. could she have a yeast infection? or is it a different problem? please help out, she's really scared.
-thanks

one thing to learn about becoming a woman is that most anything is "normal". unfortunately your friend may just be one of us women who's period is irregular and tends to stay that way. she should keep records of all this and take it into her doctor when she goes, just so she can get some feedback on it. probably nothing to worry about though.

i'm not sure why she is asking about a yeast infection. that usually presents itself as an itching or painful situation that is unrelated to just a missed period.

can you provide more information on why she is asking about the yeast infection?

honestly i don't think she has anything to worry about. missed periods can be caused by anxiety, weight changes, stress, a lot of exercise, or any number of events.

good luck to your friend on getting squared away.
