I missed taking a few birth control pills ( 4 days) and now appear to have started my period. This has never happened before and it isnt the first time i have forgotten to take my pills for this length of time.
I think I may have had a miscarriage as it seems exactly the same as it did last time i had one.
I keep getting sharp cramps in my abdomen and have a brown discharge which is heavy.
Am i right or is it something else?

Relax, it is the lack of birth control pills - not a miscarriage. You wouldn't even be far enough along (when was your last period) to get pregnant and miscarry.

Continue taking your pills as normal and use alternate protection for at least a week.
