Q: Miscarrying naturally in your home

What happens if you have a miscarriage and you pass naturally in your home? Can you take the baby to be buried or cremated? I mean assuming the child is large enough. I googled it and it came back with way to many results. I am trying to find out so that I can include the information in a paper. I read an article from like 2003 and it was saying something about it being against the law because it was consider waste. I'm not sure if you can answer but would appreciate the help.

Thanks

Burial laws vary from state to state and country to country. It would help to know what area you are talking about. If you are in the United States, this website on burial rites for miscarried babies may help you get started.
