Miscarried 3 times

I have miscarried 3 times in the last year and I am now five weeks pregnant. I have an a scan, which showed my uterous was thickened, a cyst which is normal, and a sac. it was too early to see anything else. I have a nother scan in two weeks,.

has anyone had a normal pregnancy after three miscarriages.

i feel so down and worried that i am never going to go full term.

I've been there too
I had my daughter 9 yrs ago and then had 7 miscarrages in a row. all my numbers went up everything seemed normal till I was around 8 weeks. then the hearts would stop beating. went thru all the tests, blood work, genetic testing, never got any answers. they told me that I would not be able to carry to term again. however I now have a 10.5 mnth old son who is happy and healthy. I didn't not one time in the 1st trimester believe that it would go to term so much that I gave my self high bp and was put on bed rest after i reached 12 wks bp went to norm. no more probs. but you never get over the fear that something is goin to go wrong. didn't believe he wuld get here even on the day that I went in to have him. all i can say is yes they are hard but they happen for a reason. never lose hope I'm proof that doctors don't know everything good luck

Miscarried three times at 8-9 weeks.
Today I found out that I had third miscarriage in last 29 months. For every pregnancy, I took 9-12 months to get pregnant only to found out that I lost my baby around 8-9 weeks each time. I am really depressed with this. I have no idea why I cant carry it beyond 8-9 weeks each time. Does HCG or Progresterone injections in early pregnancy helps in keeping the baby alive ? There were no chromosome abnormality, cariotype test came out normal. No idea. Please help. What kind of test should I get ? Could you please give me entire list of test to find out the diagnosis. I am 29 year old. Trying to have baby desperately for last 3 years.

Hi, understand what you have been going through. I had three miscarriages this year, the last one just two days ago. Felt really hopeless until I saw my gynae yesterday. I am aged 36 and have a healthy and bubbly 2 and a half year old son. He suggested that my ovaries should take a break and proposed a pregnancy plan for me. He recommended a 3-4 months 'ovary break' by taking contraceptives pill and taking 10micrograms of folic acid every day. He will give me a pill to ovulate once I am off the contraceptive pill and he will test my blood to check whether I am pregnant within 36 hours after I ovulate. After that he will put me on progesterone. I am not sure if this will work but it all sounds like a good plan to me with very little side effect. Good luck!
