hi. I had a miscarriage on Sept 13, I was only 3 weeks along. I passed a lot of tissue and clots for three days and then it slowly waned. I had no HCG levels, so my Dr refuses to call it a miscarriage, but I experienced cramping and contractions when it happened like nothing i'd had before and I had morning sickness prior to that. (I have a four year old daughter, so i know what contractions feel like). So, that ended on Sept 15. Then, on Oct 3, with no symptoms, I experienced heavy bright red vaginal bleeding. This lasted until Oct 8 and was very heavy the whole time and always bright red. It then just stopped, no lightening, just stopped. So for two days I've had no bleeding. Then today my husband and I had sex and four hours later I started heavy bright red bleeding again. There is no pain, i've had no weight gain or cramping that I would usually have with a period. I was on Yasmin this month, as I usually am and have been for 4 years. I'm very confused and wondering if I'm experiencing some left over tissue from the miscarriage that is causing bleeding. My dr did an exam but was not very thorough because she works for the Student Health Center and is not "equipped to deal with this sort of thing". Please help
