Q: Miscarriage?

I have my period this week and it has been lighter than usual. Today I was sitting in the library when I got these sharp pains all of a sudden. Then about 10 minutes later I felt my period get really heavy and I had to go change my tampon. This lasted about an hour and a half then when I went to change my tampon I saw a glob of blood about an inch long. It had a discoloured bit in it. I get those occasionally but never that big before.

I've been having sex with my boyfriend but we've been using condoms. Except once back last November, but he didn't come inside me.

I couldn't have miscarried could I? Should I take a pregnancy test just to be sure?

Often during my periods. Especially when they get heavy i have blood clots. Tampons really help hold them in. Sometimes mine are as long as 2 or 3 inches. Always a very dark black/red color.

It doesn't sound like a miscarriage to me.

I'm glad that you and your boyfriend are staying safe. Testing is always important before not using a condom even if you think you know the person.

For me, its not a miscarriage..
You know what..
Sometimes If you experience those apple like blood that will come out to you is a one sign that your pregnant. Why? It cleanses your uterus to prepare you for the implantation. What happen to you after your whole period? Did you feel like dizziness, fatigue or feeling tired?
If you do so, You must buy a pregnancy test. You might be pregnant. Believe me that happens to me too.

My period is really light again now, like it was this morning. I got it last saturday. But during those one and a half hours today while it was really heavy I was feeling light headed, tired and really strange. My legs felt a bit numb.
I've been feeling emotional for a while now, and rather angry and confused and like I'm going to cry. It was intensified today.

In your last intercourse, did you used a condom?

I think you just wait after your cycle is finished. Check it for sure.Buy a pregnancy test kit. Okay?
It's better to know it at early stage.

Yes we did. But I suppose there is a very slight possibility that some got inside me as we did some other things too. So it might have found its way in there.

Okay... I'll do that when my period is over. Thankyou.

Anyone else's opinions are very welcome. This has never happened before and I am a bit worried.
