Hi...i have been on the pill for nearly a year now so we dont usually use a condom. however, ive had to be on 4 courses of antibiotics just this year due to a weak immune system (ugh), and i now know that reduces the effectiveness of the pill (ughhh).

for the past couple of weeks my boobs have been veryy tender, and that hasnt really happened since before i started taking birth control (they used to get sore only before my period was due). in addition, i could (and still can) see more veins in my breasts. i recently contracted a uti that went to my kidneys, and i was put on cipro (an antibiotic that my doctor actually told me is not usually prescribed to women who are pregnant). this of course has wacked up my birth control.

i started bleeding a few days ago, and began to bleed heavily yesterday. my cramps have been nonstop for about two days, and occasionally i feel a very sharp pain. i've had to change my tampon several times a day, which rarely happens. a friend of mine said that when she miscarried, she had similar symtoms. at first i paid no mind to it, because i know that my hormones are all messed up right now. but now, given my previous suspicious symptoms, im wondering if i could have miscarried? i'm currently still bleeding moderately. i never took a pregnancy test and so i dont actually know if i was pregnant. is it possible that i had a miscarriage? i cant get the nagging feeling that i have out of my head. i have a gyno appointment in about two weeks...is there any way she could tell me if i was pregnant?
