Hello
I am new to the forum. I have a question. At work today a co-worker intentionally hit me multiple times in my back with her chair (not in a fun playful way). Anyway shortly after I started feeling crampy and then started spotting so I left work early. I am a high risk pregnancy because of Incompetent cervix so I had an appt. with my Maternal Fetal Medicine dr and we were supposed to do a cerclage today but because of the "trauma" I suffered and the cramping and spotting he put it off until Thursday and told me to be on bedrest the next 2 days to see if the cramps/spotting stops or lets up. I was on restriction already from previous cramps/spotting episodes. I am so scared something will happen between now and then and even worse I am worried about the "damage" done by this work incident and the stress it put me under (my bosses will do nothing about it). Can all of this cause me to miscarry?
I am usually not a worry wart but we lost a baby girl at 17 weeks due to IC and we almost lost my son three times (until we got the cerclage, terbutaline pump, and strict bedrest from 15 weeks on). Did anyone have something similar happen and did your baby (and you) turn out okay?
