Mirena is a health hazard. My 32 year old sister was on Mirena and she had formed cysts on her ovaries. The cysts were dismissed by a doctor. However, she had also formed blood clots which attacked her heart and led to her death. She left behind a two year old daughter and a family who misses her every day. This is what Mirena does to you! Beware, be careful, and stay away because this might happen to you.
