Q: Mircette and Kariva

Okay, this may be a silly question but I'm freaking out because of it...

My gyno prescribed me to birth control called "Mircette".
I've been taking it for about 3 weeks.

Well, I took my prescription to Walgreens about 3 days ago and I didn't open the bag until today. It's a medication called Kariva.

Is this just a different brand of the same thing or did they just give me the wrong thing?

I'd call my doctor but it's Sunday and they are closed.

I don't want to start taking this different medication and end up pregnant because I wasn't suppose to.

Extremely eHealthy

Kariva is GENERIC medication.

Kariva is birth control, so it will prevent pregnancy.
