My daughter has been on Miralax for almost 8 years. I have her at about half the recommended dose (which is 17gms). She goes 3 or 4 times a week. Sometimes a little less. Anyway, I can't seem to get her to any smaller a dose. Suggestions? We know that you have to go very slowly, we do. We've done everything as suggested but still, can't seem to get her any lower. Is Miralax safe to take forever? Can Miralax cause kidney disease?
