Hello
I am 20 years old and for the past 2 days I have been vomiting and gagging. For the past year or two I have always gagged for no reason but it was only when I would do some specific event (like getting in my car, or walking up the stairs, or pulling my pants down to use the restroom) and I would gag. I'm pretty sure it's a psychological thing, but in the past few days I have actually vomited. The pain in my stomach is an nervous/gassy feeling but it goes away after awhile only to return later with possible vomiting. I have also has slight diarrhea. I vomited for the first time 2 days ago and yesterday I was starting to feel better, but then my boyfriend and I decided to go for a car ride to get some fresh air and on my way to the car I started gagging uncontrollably and didn't get very far on the trip before I asked my boyfriend to turn around. When we got back home I raced to the bathroom and vomited. And if I start to get ready to go somewhere or I keep thinking about vomiting or not to vomit and I start to gag.

They only medicine that I'm on is Zenchent... generic birth control. And I don't have any other medical issues, but I am overweight. One thing I can say is that I had this same mindset when I was in middle school. I would get nervous before going to school then I would gag uncontrollably and vomit, or I would get to my first class and I would get sick and have to go home. After awhile it went away... but now that I'm older I'm a little worried it would be some serious.

Acid reflex? Anxiety? Food Poisoning? Pregnant? Mentally Crazy?! I don't know. Please help me! I want to leave my house!

Pregnancy is most easily to be confirmed or excluded. You only need to do a home pregnancy test.

Food poisoning (alimentary toxo-infection) can be confirmed with microbiological examination of the stool (coproculture).

Acid reflux can be confirmed by measuring the pH-value in the esophagus.

Both gagging and vomiting could be due to amental ilness but all the organic possibilities should be excluded first. Gastritis, peptic ulcer, hiatus hernia etc. are other posibilities that should be also checked. You can consult a gastroenterologist about your problem.
