Every night my 3-year-old son falls asleep around 8:30-9:00 and wakes up crying between 11:00pm and 1:00am with occasional shaking. It's almost like he is shivering, but that's not the case. Often times he seems confused and not willing to respond to me when I ask him what's wrong or if he is okay. He is not on any medications, nor has he ever had any serious medical problems. I don't think he is having night terrors, because he is never really terrified when he wakes up. I'm wondering if he could be having mild seizures.
