Q: Migrating clips after surgery

any one out there who knows what i am saying i had surgery 17 years ago i almost died it went very wrong..the dr never even followed up with me..i have been in and out of hosp and dr offices trying to get relief.the last 7 years have been the worst.i started getting this ripping sensation in my ribs and stomach and back now they have these hard cyst like in the places were i felt ripping ..such a long story but i have had migrating clips' not 1 but several from his screw up and cant get any dr to help me..i have lupus and i believe its from these stupid clips..the last 17 years have been tough and its worse every year.please if anyone knows anything i would appreciate it.....thank you mary
sry this was gallbladder lap surgery that went terribly wrong and the dr released to many clips i have about 5 xtras that are migrating with the 4 that are on my duct they stay put

It is highly unlikely that your lupus was caused by a few tiny, stray surgical clips within your abdomen. Lupus is an autommune disorder that results when the body begins to mount an immune response against itself.

I hope that you will be able to find a physician who can help you with the problems that you describe.
