For about a little over two months now I have been having these sharp pains in my head normally on the right side of my head, temple area. Ive noticed that i have been seeing a zigzag light in my vision it starts out small then goes all the way across my vision and last for about 30 minutes or so. At first I did not have any headaches at all with these but know I am. They are getting pretty bad, and last acouple of days. and I still get the sharp pains as well on and off even when i do not have a headache. I keep thinking that it is something really bad, but hoping its just the sign of migraines. B ut ive never had any before that im aware of. Any answers???

the sharp pains do not sound like migraine, though the zig zag lines in your vision field sound like auras for a migraine. Migraines are different for everyone, I would suggest seeing a doctor for a diagnoses. Migraines usually thob, can be one sided, and are more on the dull side rather than sharp. I suffer from variant migraine cluster headaches for 40 years and your symptoms sound a little odd. deffinately see an MD and get a diagnoses.
