White matter hyperintensities (multiple, small, dot-like lesions) are common finding on MRI in general population, but, migraine sufferers are four times more likely to get them.
Occasionally, WMH in migraine sufferer may indicate some underlying conditions affecting the brain blood vessels, but, this can be diagnosed only by evaluating the number, location and distribution of these hyperintensities.
In most of the cases, WMH findings aren't concerning.
One-sided facial numbness is symptom of migraine.
Best wishes!
