It started with a headache last Sunday (01/17) by Tuesday it was more of a vertigo with a slight headache. I went to the clinic where most of my stats were normal blood, thyroid, etc. Glucose was a little low. She just gave me medicine for pain and said she would schedule a CT if it did no go away. By Thursday I was feeling very bad, like I was going to pass out at any minute from the throbbing pain and vertigo. Friday I saw the dentist prostitute-did my temporary crown (thinking maybe my bite was off). Saturday still no inkling of relief and I saw a doctor at the clinic again who said it was probably Benign Positional Vertigo or possible Menieres syndrome. He prescribed me prednisone 60 mg a day to taper every 3 days. He also gave me a shot of Nubain/Phenergan and said when I woke up I would be feeling better. Sunday morning I was still woozy from the pain meds and Sunday night I felt so much better. The pressure in my head was relieved. This morning (day Cool I was feeling like a million bucks, just a little vertigo, but no head stuff. But the this afternoon I feel like the headache is coming back again and I am getting freaked out. I could not function last week, it was so hard to be a good mom to my 2-1/2 year old son, I just want to cry. I have been taking my prednisone, and my head is throbbing at the temples, even with a steady stream of 800 mg ibuprofen. I have a CT scheduled but it is not until Thursday. Any thoughts?
