Im a 43 yr old mum of 5 children. I had 3 natural births and 2 c-sections. I have only had 2 periods in the last 14 months, I get times that I feel very hot very quickly both during the day and night.Im quite lethargic and get joint ache quite often My libido has vanished!!!! Luckily I have a very understanding Husband.
I have seen my doctor and told him about everything and asked if it was peri menopause and all he said was "well it could be, so just get on with it!!"

Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

According to the symptoms you have described( hot flashes, tiredness, decreased libido)it seems you are experiencing Menopausal symptoms. Some of the other symptoms are hair loss, mood swings, sleep disorder, mental confusion etc due to the decrese in the hormonal levels.
Hormonal Replacement Therapy is given for relief of the symptoms and it also helps in preventing bone loss, joint pain, hot flashes etc.Kindly consider visiting your Healthcare provider for evaluation.

Take Care!
