I have been living with mid-lower back pain for now going on 3 years. I have pain during the day but the real pain is at night. I wake up around 3AM and have to take a pain reliever. I normally have to stay up for at less 2 hours before I can go back to bed.

I have had a MRI along with talking to at less 4 defiance doctors trying to get help. They all say to loss weight.... I am just not sure they know what to say to me so that's there answer.

Losing weight will put less strain on the lumbar spine, which might relieve some of your back pain.

On the other hand, what did the MRI actually show? What did the MRI report say?
