Q: microgynon 8 day break!

I've been on the pill for 10 months and never mucked it up, but when i was supposed to take it on thursday after my 7 day break, i forgot and so took one friday which means i had an 8 day break... is this going to cause a big problem? I had sex yesterday after 4 pills but the condom split.. will i be ok though? as in does the 8 day break make a huge difference????
