I'm 15 and i've been taking Microgynon 30
for over a month now and recently had a
break out of acne.Could this pill have
something to do with it?
I've had the occasional spots since i was
12,but only these past 2 weeks,my skin has
got really bad.I am thinking of stopping
using this pill in case it has something
to do with it.
Does Microgynon aggravate acne??? And
would stopping taking it increase the
acne???

It could be from the microgynon... but
what I would do is wait for another month
or two and see if it clears up.
It can take your body up to three months
to adjust to the hormones in the pills,
during which time you might experience
some side effects. For most women, any
side effects will go away after this time.
So even though it may suck, I'd suggest
sticking with it and seeing if it clears
up. If you are still getting acne after
being on it for a few more months, than
you can get off it and find something
else.
