Q: Metotrexate side effects !!

My mother is on methotrexate for treatment of cancer. It is having terrible side effects. Is it worth continuing?

Hi Huxlly,
This medication will have side effects, her doctor should have explained to her what they were. If the side effects become to unbearable please have your mother discuss another mediction. Do not have your mom stop taking the medication w/o her doctor approval. In time many side effects lessen and the patient do fairly well.
