I have been on the Merina for about 2
months. I am cramping in my left leg
during my cycle. Is this normal and I have
gained about 20lbs in these 2 months is
this form the Merina. Help

I have been on Mirena since October of
2006. Cramping is very normal, although in
the leg doesn't seem right to me (I'm not
a doctor though).
It has been incredibly difficult to lose
weight on Mirena too. I have heard that
weight gain and serious mood swings are
common side effects.
I also ended up bleeding for 7 months
straight with it.
The leg cramping doesn't necessarily have
anything to do with Mirena either. It
could be coming from something else, so I
would recommend that you talk to your
doctor about this if the leg cramping
doesn't go away.
BTW- is the leg cramping painful or is
kind of like restless leg syndrome
symptoms? (tingly, sporadic movement,
jittery, etc)
