mental stress and depression

hi guys,
My name is erajasimhan, i am practicing advocate high court chennai, recently i met one senior most advocate who is feeling depressed because he feels no one is there to care for him as he is 62 years old and got 35 years experience in practice he got married in the year 1994 and applied for divorce within a month and got divorce order in the year 2000 no issues for him now for the past four months he has given up his entire case he gave his books worth about 50,000/-, his car to his friends and asking me to join him in some old age home. he also have some physical health problem i advised him that ill tack care of him, i even took him to the hospital and gave treatment, and asked him to be with me for his lifetime still he could not able to come out of his mental stress he is very much depressed stating "i am feared about my future" if you got married ware will i go. i dont want to be burden to any one so please join me in any old age home. But i dont want to join him in any old age home i want him to be with me kindly any one help me to convince him and help the senior advocate to come out from stress and depression i will be very greatfull to you if u help me in this regard.
