Hi, I'm a 13 year old girl and I started my period when I was 11. Every once in a while I get a jelly like discharge that is white and odorless. I have had yeast infections before (never have had sex) so i know this is not one of them. I was just wondering if this was normal or if I can stop it from happening. Not that it is bothering me I'm just curious.
The discharge what you are experiencing is quite normal and is a normal vaginal discharge which is a part of self cleansing mechanism. It is increased during ovulation, stress, pregnancy etc.If the discharge is associated with odour,or changes in colour and consistency then it is indicative of infection.
