Q: menstruation

uhmm hi ppl im new to this but i want to ask a questionim 13 yrs old and i had been sexually active bt i stopped a month and a half ago after. i had sex like 10 days before i got my period. now in the month of may it didnt came just this brownish colored discharge and it stopped for a week. i took a home pregnancy test and it said "not preagnant" what can this be??? is it a body change?
