Menstruation Answer A6151

If you really have your menstrual bleeding then you are not pregnant. Menstrual bleeding occurs due to the expected decrease of a certain female hormone which results in detaching the inner lining of the uterus and vaginal bleeding. This decrease does not occur if the woman gets pregnant, because the hormone is needed in order to keep the uterus fit for the baby and the placenta.

You might want to visit your gynecologist to check for hormonal imbalances that affect your menstrual bleeding.
