(I am on birth control)today is the day i started my period. i come on every wednesday during the last week of my pills. this is the first time this happened. i came on today but nothing red is there. its brown like a dark brown. i dont know whats going on should i be worried about anything. but remind you when i went for my yearly paps mere this month my doctor gave me some pills for discharg. does that have anything to do with my period being brown.

I do not think you should worry too much about it. Brown blood is normally a sign of older blood. It could have been left over from the pap or inside your uterus.
